Product Overview
The kit is suitable for simple, rapid and efficient separation and purification of DNA/RNA from whole blood, tissue homogenate, swabs, serum, plasma and other acellular body fluids. The unique buffer system enables the viral nucleic acids in the lysate to bind to the silica gel centrifugal adsorbent column in a highly efficient and specific manner, so that the viral nucleic acids obtained are of high purity and stable quality, free of protein, nuclease and other impurities, and can be used in a variety of routine operations, including PCR, fluorescence quantitative PCR and other experiments.
Each preparation combines 500 µL of Buffer RLC, 200 µL of sample and 20 µL of Proteinase K, vortexed for 5 s and mixed at 1200 rpm for 10 min. The lysate is loaded onto the Spin Column DM at 12,000 rpm for 1 min, washed with 500 µL of Buffer PGWT and 500 µL of Buffer GWT2, dried at 12,000 rpm for 2 min and air-dried for 2 min, then eluted with 40–100 µL of RNase-Free Water. The expected purity is OD260/OD280 1.8–2.1, with 2.0 indicating high-quality RNA.

Applications
- Viral DNA and RNA purification from whole blood, serum and plasma
- Nucleic acid purification from swabs and acellular body fluids
- Nucleic acid purification from tissue homogenate
- Template preparation for PCR and fluorescence quantitative PCR
Storage & Handling
Most components are stored at room temperature for 1 year; Proteinase K is stored at -20°C for 1 year. Extracted nucleic acids are stored at -80°C for the long term.
Usage Notes
- Buffer RLC may crystallize; dissolve it at 56°C before use if needed.
- Swab samples require specific pre-treatment before lysis.
- Air-dry the column for 2 min after the drying spin before elution.
- Store extracted nucleic acids at -80°C for the long term.
Safety & Regulatory
For research use only. Not intended for clinical, diagnostic or therapeutic use. Follow the manufacturer's manual and standard laboratory safety practice.
