Overview
von Willebrand Factor Antibody is an antibody targeting von. Host: Rabbit. Monoclonal. Clone: VWF/7979R. Format: Purified. Applications: IHC-P.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: von.
- Immunogen: A recombinant partial protein (within amino acids 1150-1250) from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the v….
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Localization: Secreted, Cytoplasm.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
Human von Willebrand factor (VWF or factor VIII-related antigen) is a 309 kDa multimeric plasma glycoprotein, important in the maintenance of hemostasis, it promotes adhesion of platelets to the sites of vascular injury by forming a molecular bridge between sub-endothelial collagen matrix and platelet-surface receptor complex GPIb-IX-V.
Common research applications
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
