WHI P131, also known as Janex-1, is a potent, reversible, and selective inhibitor of Janus kinase 3 (JAK3). In neuroscience, WHI P131 is used to investigate the role of JAK3 signaling in neuroinflammation and glioblastoma progression. It has been shown to inhibit glioblastoma cell adhesion and migration, as well as thrombin-induced platelet aggregation. Given the involvement of JAK/STAT pathways in neuroimmune responses, WHI P131 is a valuable tool for studying neuroinflammatory mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions in neurodegenerative diseases.
Classification: Not a hazardous substance or mixture.
