Overview
Zebrafish Etf1 Antibody / Etf1a / Etf1b / Eukaryotic peptide chain release factor subunit 1 is an antibody targeting Etf1. Host: Rabbit. Polyclonal. Format: Antigen affinity purified. Applications: WB, IHC-P.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: Etf1.
- Immunogen: An E.coli-derived zebrafish Etf1a/b recombinant protein (amino acids D9-K344) was used as the immunogen for the Zebrafi….
- Species reactivity: Zebrafish.
- Localization: Cytoplasm.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
Eukaryotic translation termination factor 1 (eRF1),also known asTB3-1,is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ETF1 gene. It is mapped to 5q31.2. This gene encodes a class-1 polypeptide chain release factor. The encoded protein plays an essential role in directing termination of mRNA translation from the termination codons UAA,UAG and UGA.
Common research applications
- WB: relative abundance and band pattern assessment using appropriate controls.
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
