Overview
Zebrafish Fhl2 Antibody / Fhl2a / Fhl2b is an antibody targeting Fhl2. Host: Rabbit. Polyclonal. Format: Antigen affinity purified. Applications: IHC-P, IF.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: Fhl2.
- Immunogen: An E.coli-derived zebrafish Fhl2 recombinant protein (amino acids K235-I279) was used as the immunogen for the Zebrafis….
- Species reactivity: Zebrafish.
- Localization: Cytoplasmic, Nuclear.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
Four and a half LIM domains protein 2, also known as FHL-2, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FHL2 gene. This gene encodes a member of the four-and-a-half-LIM-only protein family. Family members contain two highly conserved, tandemly arranged, zinc finger domains with four highly conserved cysteines binding a zinc atom in each zinc finger.
Common research applications
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
- IF/ICC: subcellular localization imaging with proper background controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
