Overview
Zebrafish Hsp60 Antibody / Hspd1 is an antibody targeting Hsp60. Host: Rabbit. Polyclonal. Format: Antigen affinity purified. Applications: WB, IHC-P, IF.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: Hsp60.
- Immunogen: An E.coli-derived zebrafish HSP60/HSPD1 recombinant protein (amino acids K72-Q496) was used as the immunogen for the Ze….
- Species reactivity: Zebrafish.
- Localization: Cytoplasm.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
HSP60 is a member of the chaperonin class of protein factors, which include the Escherichia coli groEL protein and the Rubisco subunit-binding protein of chloroplasts. It acts as a costimulator of human regulatory CD4-positive/CD25 -positive T cells, which inhibit lymphoproliferation and IFNG and TNF secretion by CD4-positive and CD8-positive T cells.
Common research applications
- WB: relative abundance and band pattern assessment using appropriate controls.
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
- IF/ICC: subcellular localization imaging with proper background controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
