Overview
Zebrafish Pax2 Antibody / Pax2a / Pax2b is an antibody targeting Pax2. Host: Rabbit. Polyclonal. Format: Antigen affinity purified. Applications: WB.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: Pax2.
- Immunogen: An E.coli-derived zebrafish Pax2 recombinant protein (amino acids E240-Q282) was used as the immunogen for the Zebrafis….
- Species reactivity: Zebrafish.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
Paired box gene 2, also known as PAX2, is a protein which in humans is encoded by the PAX2 gene. This gene is mapped to 10q24. PAX2 encodes paired box gene 2, one of many human homologues of the Drosophila melanogaster gene prd. The central feature of this transcription factor gene family is the conserved DNA-binding paired box domain.
Common research applications
- WB: relative abundance and band pattern assessment using appropriate controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
