Overview
Zebrafish Ube2i Antibody / Ube2ia / Ube2ib is an antibody targeting Ube2i. Host: Rabbit. Polyclonal. Format: Antigen affinity purified. Applications: WB.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: Ube2i.
- Immunogen: An E.coli-derived zebrafish Ube2ia/b recombinant protein (amino acids N124-S158) was used as the immunogen for the Zebr….
- Species reactivity: Zebrafish.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
Enables SUMO transferase activity. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including embryonic heart tube development; hematopoietic stem cell homeostasis; and protein sumoylation. Predicted to be active in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including immature eye; nervous system; neural crest; pectoral fin bud; and pharyngeal pouch. Orthologous to human UBE2I (ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 I).
Common research applications
- WB: relative abundance and band pattern assessment using appropriate controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
