Product Overview
Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVECs) are primary endothelial cells that researchers rely on across angiogenesis, vascular biology, endothelial signaling, inflammation, and cardiovascular disease work. Being primary in origin, and being sensitive to the cytotoxicity that accompanies transfection, HUVECs are usually regarded as hard targets for conventional non-viral gene delivery methods. GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for HUVECs was tuned to that problem: paired with GenJet™ Transfection Buffer, the specialized formulation raises DNA uptake and transgene expression while holding transfection-related cytotoxicity down, and optimized conditions can reach up to 60% transfection efficiency with excellent cell viability preserved.
