GenJet™ In Vitro DNA Transfection Reagent for 3LL Cells is a SignaGen Laboratories reagent pre-optimized for plasmid DNA delivery into 3LL cells, so the usual optimization step is not needed. 3LL cells grew out of a spontaneous lung carcinoma that appeared in a C57BL/6 mouse, and Dr. Margaret R. Lewis at the Wistar Institute gave the first description of it.

Product Overview

3LL cells grew out of a spontaneous lung carcinoma that appeared in a C57BL/6 mouse, and Dr. Margaret R. Lewis at the Wistar Institute gave the first description of it. Ever since, the line has served as a syngeneic murine tumor model, and it remains in broad use for lung cancer biology, tumor metastasis, immuno-oncology, and therapeutic development. For laboratories working with it, GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for 3LL Cells arrives with conditions already tuned to push DNA into 3LL (Lewis Lung Carcinoma) cells at high efficiency.

Performance Data

GenJet™ In Vitro DNA Transfection Reagent for 3LL Cells – GFP transfection in 3LL cells
Representative Image Showing the Transfection Efficiency of GenJet™ Reagent in 3LL Cells. 3LL (Lewis Lung Carcinoma) cells were cultured according to ATCC-recommended conditions and transfected with the pEGFP-N3 expression plasmid using GenJet™ reagent. Transfection efficiency was evaluated 24 hours post-transfection by monitoring GFP expression.

Applications

This DNA transfection reagent supports a range of molecular biology applications including transient and stable transfection, reporter assays, protein expression studies, and gene function analysis in mammalian cell systems.
