Product Overview
George Todaro and Howard Green built the NIH 3T3 line out of Swiss mouse embryo tissue. This well-characterized mouse embryonic fibroblast line has since become one of the most-used fibroblast models across cell biology, molecular biology, and gene expression work — a standing it owes to robust growth characteristics together with reproducible biological responses. GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for NIH 3T3 Cells carries conditions tuned to that line specifically, so plasmid DNA enters NIH 3T3 cells efficiently.
