Product Overview
Keratinocytes are difficult targets: nucleic acid uptake is limited, and the cells are sensitive to transfection-induced cytotoxicity. Proprietary formulation and optimization let GenJet™ reagent work around both obstacles, reaching high transfection efficiency with excellent cell viability kept intact, and as many as 50% GFP-positive cells under optimized conditions. GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for Keratinocytes is tuned in advance for primary and immortalized keratinocytes alike, whether human or mouse.
