Product Overview
Integrated human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV-16) DNA sits in the genome of SiHa, a human cervical squamous cell carcinoma line that is a common choice for studying cervical cancer biology, viral oncogenesis, gene regulation, signal transduction, and anticancer therapeutics. GenJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent for SiHa Cells is tuned in advance to transfect DNA into this line efficiently, its formulation worked up to give high efficiency while SiHa cultures keep excellent viability. The protocol below was refined to push efficiency to its maximum in SiHa cells, and one milliliter of GenJet™ reagent stretches to roughly 300–600 transfections using 24-well plates, or 50–100 using 6-well plates.
