Product Overview
GenJet™ Plus In Vivo DNA Transfection Reagent grew out of the original GenJet™ DNA Transfection Reagent: an advanced non-viral gene delivery system, further refined by working in several proprietary cationic and functional peptides. Those additions, SignaGen says, sharply raise how densely DNA-binding and condensing moieties are packed, which in turn strengthens plasmid DNA complexation and stability and lifts delivery efficiency in vivo. Bolted on covalently, a shielding peptide holds down nonspecific interactions with serum components and other biological barriers, so circulation through the body and transfection performance in vivo both improve.
Following systemic administration, GenJet™ Plus has been shown to drive robust transgene expression, with Renilla luciferase activity registering high in several organs — lung, liver, spleen, and kidney.
