Product Overview
Few human cervical cancer cell lines see as much biomedical research use as HeLa, which turns up throughout work on gene function, cancer biology, signal transduction, virology, and drug discovery — yet general-purpose reagents can struggle to give consistent knockdown without toxicity. GenMute™ siRNA Transfection Reagent for HeLa Cells answers that with conditions tuned specifically in advance for efficient siRNA delivery into these cells. Engineering of the formulation targets maximal cellular uptake and intracellular release of siRNA, with cell viability and normal morphology preserved.
Transfection efficiency runs high and cytotoxicity low, so gene silencing comes out robust and reproducible for downstream in vitro applications: pathway analysis, target validation, functional assays.
